Mouna Tahar is a contemporary Moroccan artist whose work moves between portraiture, Arabic calligraphy and abstraction. Through colour, texture and expressive forms, she explores identity, memory and the relationship between what is seen and what is carried within.

Mouna Tahar moves freely between portraiture and calligraphy. Faces, letters and symbols appear, disappear and overlap, creating compositions shaped by colour, memory and form.
